Mirror aluminum sheet plate features and usages

The mirror aluminum sheet plate is an extensively applied product in lighting, labeling and building decoration. It’s a piece of aluminum sheet taking on a mirroring effect. Different from a mirror, it’s much harder and more resistant to impact of shocks. Such a mirror aluminum sheet is obtained by rolling and polishing (mechanically or manually) in China, yet by rolling only at abroad. In addition to rolling and polishing, anodizing is applied in production of mirror anodized aluminum sheet.

Based on reflectivity the mirror aluminum sheet plate is divided into high, medium and low classes, or standard, high and super aluminum mirror sheets. In accordance to final treatment methods there are anodized and not anodized aluminum mirror sheets. Many aluminum alloys that we get in contact with in daily life can be processed into mirror aluminum sheet plates, such as 1050, 1060, 1070, 1100, 5052, 6061, 6063, 7075 and so on.

Generally speaking, a standard aluminum mirror sheet has poorer performance than a mirror anodized aluminum sheet and China sheets can not compete with sheets imported from countries like America, Germany and Italy. Regardless of the differences, all kinds of mirror aluminum sheet plates cover a wide range of application. Their usages include building decoration, electronic shells, kitchen cupboards, automobile decoration etc. Boasting light weight, strong hardness and bright surface, they bring beauty as well as comfort to our life.
