Industri aluminum coil roll refers to only 1000 alloys like 1050, 1060, 1070 and 1100 in China, but alloys of other series, including 3003, 5052, 5082, 5083, 5754 and 6061, can also be taken into account if the roll is defined by application.

1xxx aluminium coil, containing at least 99% aluminum content, features weak hardness, simplex process and low price. 1050 aluminum coil is usually applied to printing boards, video panels, traffic sign sheets, insulation materials etc., while 1060 to soft connection parts for power batteries, plastic composite panels, lamp units, capacitor shells, road signs and building wall curtains.

3003 aluminum coil roll contains 1.0% to 1.5% manganese, applied to wet environments that require relative corrosion resistance, such as air conditioners, fridges, truck flooring and so on. With good tensile strength, the coil is made into caps for wine, drink and cosmetics, too.

The Al-Mg 5xxx aluminium rolls, known for low density, high tensile strength and good elongation, weigh less than other series. They are harder and more corrosion resistant than 3003, applied to marine building, plane oil tanks and regular industrial production.
