The other type of alloys are known as alloy aluminum plates, like 5052, 6061, 6063, 7075 etc. The application of 5000 series of high reflect aluminum mirror coil sheets is also quite a lot, aluminum plate belongs to the more common alloy aluminum plate series, the main element is magnesium, the magnesium content is between 3-5%. Also known as aluminum-magnesium alloy. The main features are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. The weight of aluminum-magnesium alloy is lower than other series under the same area. Therefore, it is commonly used in aviation, such as aircraft fuel tanks. It is also widely used in conventional industries. The processing technology is continuous casting and rolling, which belongs to the hot-rolled aluminum plate series and can be used for oxidation deep processing. The 5000 series of aluminum plates are featured by mature process, and the alloy aluminum plate is also very good for the mirror effect.
In addition, an anodized reflective aluminum lighting sheet is better in performance than a regular polished aluminum sheet. Correspondingly quality sheets cost more.
