The embossed metal sheet decorative generally includes embossed aluminum sheets and embossed steel sheets. Five-bar, diamond and stucco embossed aluminum coil sheets are used for decoration of buildings, platforms and vehicles. Here we would like to introduce specifications and properties of aluminum embossed metal panels used for vehicle decoration.
Theoretically all aluminium alloys can be made into embossed metal panels, but in practice the most frequently applied includes only 1000, 3000 and 5000. In some cases 2000 and 6000 series are adopted as well. 1000, 3000 and 5000 series of aluminium embossed metal sheets decorative become popular because of relatively mature manufacturing process for them and their excellent adaptability to various application requirements. 1000 series contain the most aluminium content, 99% and above. They are the softest of the three, and the most vulnerable to corrosion. However, they are cheaper than the other two series, boasting developed fabrication technique. 3000 and 5000 contain a certain amount (2%-5%) of manganese and magnesium respectively. The alloying metals improve the embossed metal sheet decorative in both strength and corrosion resistance. Although both series are known for good corrosion resistance, 5000, such as 5005, 5052 and 5083, prove to be better in performance. Undoubtedly they have the longest service life of all.
Regular thickness for stucco embossed aluminum coil sheets and sheets of other patterns ranges from 1.0mm to 10.0mm and width 100mm to 1650mm. Common patterns are diamond, 5-bar, 1-bar, 2-bar, 3-bar, 4-bar, pebble, stucco, hammer, orange peel, ripple etc. However, most suppliers accept customization. Thus just contact a supplier directly if you are in need of them.
