Aluminium embossed painting paints

There are two types of paints for aluminium embossed painting: PE and PVDF. Generally speaking, a PVDF color coated aluminum coil shows better performance than a PE coated one, especially in resistance to severe conditions.

PE paint, also known as unsaturated polyester paint, is a compounded material containing a main agent, a promoter and an initiator. The three carry out a polymerization bridging reaction to cure. Compared with solvent-based wood paints, PE paint has the advantage of “100% reactivity”, which means that the liquid composition can be completely converted into a solid polymer without the release of by-products under the action of the initiator. The solvent paint needs a large amount of solvent to volatilize before it can form a paint film. In addition, the unsaturated polyester paint has good comprehensive performance, good sealing performance and high fullness. It is equivalent to PU paint in terms of wear resistance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance and high gloss but has better performances in fullness, transparency, filling and other aspects. Aluminium embossed painting by PE paint has excellent smoothness and hand feeling, used extensively as interior decoration and exterior advertising boards that display good resistance to common weather conditions like sunshine, wind, rain, frost and extreme temperatures.

PVDF paint mainly refers to a coating of a vinylidene fluoride homopolymer or a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and other small amount of fluorine-containing vinyl monomer. The chemical structure of the fluoric acid base is so stable and strong that PVDF paint shows excellent mechanical properties such as abrasion resistance and impact resistance, and exhibits long-lasting fading resistance and UV resistance in harsh weather and environment. After PVDF paint is formed into a film, the molecular structure in the coating is tight and excellent in weather resistance. American research institutes have tested and compared fluorocarbon coatings and super-coatings and general coatings. In the year, it has been proved that the stability and durability of PVDF paint are 30 and 80% higher than those of the other two coatings. Aluminium embossed painting by PE paint is used in a variety of harsh environments, especially for indoor, outdoor decoration, commercial use in public places.
