Alloys and colors for brushed aluminum sheets

Variation of the processing methods of brushed aluminum sheets lead to color variation of the sheets. We can produce various colors of double-sided hair drawing aluminum plates: jk001 ancient copper, jk002 green, jk003 stainless steel, jk004 blue, jk005 red, jk006 silver, jk007 gold, jk008 copper, JK009 black, jk010 pink, jk011 brass, jk012 bronze, jk026 iron tree silver flower, jk036 Matt color, etc.

Alloys of brushed aluminum sheets include 1050, 1060, 1100, 3003, 3004, 2014, 2024, 6061. 7005 etc. To be specific, these alloys fall on three types. The first is pure aluminium, including 1050, 1060 and 1100, and their content of aluminum can reach 99%, ranking top in all series of brushed aluminum plate substrates. Production process of pure aluminum plate series is relatively simple, cost control is relatively cheap, so it is widely used in conventional industrial products. The second is 3000 series, mainly added with anti-rust manganese element and usually used in moist conditions like air conditioners, refrigerators and car bottoms. The last is other alloyed aluminum sheets, including 5xxx, 6xxx, 2xxx and 7xxx series. Brushed aluminum sheet plates of these alloys are stronger in hardness, corrosion resistance and service life. In particular, 2xxx and 7xxx grades are known are aerospace materials with high surface hardness.

Theoretically the alloy of a brushed aluminium plate does not influence what color it can be coated with, but sometimes special process is necessary to realize a certain color with a sheet of a given alloy.
