The 1000 series is the most aluminum-containing series among all series. The purity can reach more than 99.00%. 5052 is a kind of 5000 series aluminum alloys which also include 5005, 5083 and 5A05 etc. Also called aluminum-magnesium alloy, the magnesium content is between 3-5%. A 5052 aluminum sheet is featured by low density, high tensile strength, high elongation and good fatigue strength. Under the same area, the weight of aluminum-magnesium alloy is lower than other series. The technology of processing 5052 aluminum plates is very mature in China, and the quality of 5 series anodized mirror aluminum sheet is also superior.
6061 mainly contains two alloying elements, magnesium and silicon, combining the advantages of the 4000 series and the 5000 series. Boasting excellent working ability, it is used for applications with high requirements on corrosion resistance and oxidation.
