5005 aluminium coil

5005 aluminium coil belongs to the family of 5000 series aluminum, a frequently applied series among aluminum plate alloys. Its main element is magnesium, and the magnesium content is between 3-5%, thus it’s also known as aluminum-magnesium alloy. It features in low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. The weight of aluminum-magnesium alloy, including 5005 coil/roll, is lower than other series under the same area. Therefore, it is commonly used in aviation, such as aircraft fuel tanks. It is also widely used in conventional industries. The processing technology is continuous casting and rolling. 5005 aluminium coil belongs to the hot-rolled aluminum plate series and can be used for oxidation deep processing. In China, 5000 series aluminum plates have become one of the maturest aluminum plate series.
