3003 aluminum roof coil specification and price

3003 aluminum roof coil is an Al-Mn series color coated aluminum coil for roof sheet. Its thickness ranges from 0.6mm to 1.2mm, and width can be as big as 1600mm supplied by Haomei. Detail specifications are:

Unlike 3004 that contains some magnesium, 3003 aluminum coil has no magnesium. This makes it less flexible and corrosion resistant, for magnesium is light, soft and highly resistant to erosion. As a result, 3003 is stronger in hardness and shows poorer performances while being bent sharply. In ordinary application as a roofing material, however, 3003 rivals 3004 in service life as long as the surface paint is qualified enough. 3003 aluminum roof coil has good corrosion resistance to the atmosphere, fresh water, sea water, food, organic acid, gasoline, neutral inorganic salt aqueous solution, etc., and the corrosion resistance in dilute acid is outstanding. It should be mentioned that the color of anodized 3003 aluminium is not uniform, thus the anodizing treatment is generally not performed.

The price of 3003 aluminum roof coil is higher than 1100 and lower than 3004 color coated aluminum coil rolls, roughly between $2400 and $2700 per metric ton for FOB terms. The price fluctuates with aluminium ingot price, manufacturing cost and economic policies.
