The 2014 aluminum coil is an aluminum-copper alloy which is very hard. With a melting point of 640 ° C, 2000 series of aluminum is generally composed of 97% aluminum and 3% copper. Its chemical properties are similar to pure aluminum. 2014 aluminum coil belongs to both hard and wrought aluminum alloy. Compared with 2A50, it has a higher strength and better heat strength, but the plasticity in the hot state is not as good as 2A50. , 2014 aluminum coil is featured by good machinability, good performance in seam welding, poor performance in arc welding and gas welding, and low corrosion resistance, used in applications requiring high strength and hardness (including high temperature) applications such as molds, high-strength machine parts, heavy forgings, slabs and extruded materials, wheels, truck frames and suspension system parts.
