180mm aluminum disc is a small-sized disc aluminum used for lamp covers, cookware stationery containers etc. Alloys are 1050, 1060, 1070, 1100 and 3003. Whatever grade it is of, an aluminium circle must be of good tensile strength, for it will go through either deep drawing or spinning to become end products with a certain depth. That’s why grades of lower hardness are preferred.

The main difference of 180mm aluminium disc from discs of other diameters lies in application. Small size indicates that it will not be produced into large end products like kettles and basins. Its regular end products include stationery cases, daily item containers, mini lamp covers, ornaments for automobiles and domestic decoration, small-sized cake mould etc. In spite of small size, it enjoys no advantages in processing steps. Like other aluminum circles, it can not be obtained unless a manufacturer goes through all basic steps, including aluminum ingot melting, coil and sheet rolling, circle punching and so on. Owing to the fact that aluminium circle discs are usually purchased in large quantities in the unit of ton, the disc has no advantage in price, either.
