Aluminum channel letter coil price fluctuates between $2300 to $3000 per metric ton for FOB price. The price is based on alloy and color coating method of a channel letter coil.
An aluminum channel letter coil is also known as an aluminium strip for channel letter, for its width is usually small, no more than 100mm. Regular widths include 40mm, 50mm, 60mm and 70mm. Its thickness ranges between 0.2mm and 1.0mm, and our regular thickness is 0.6mm. Channel letters made of aluminium strips will not get rusty as iron letters do, and there’s no need for frequent cleaning and maintenance. You simply cut a given length off the roll as you require, which greatly reduced possibility of material waste. Iron letters get worn from rust in two years, yet aluminum channel letters last as long as possible. The density of aluminium accounts for only one third of iron, thus it’s lighter and easier to be delivered and installed. In addition, coated aluminium coil has a higher reflectivity than iron, making aluminum channel letters brighter naturally than iron letters.
The alloy influences aluminum channel letter coil price in that 3xxx raw coil rolls are more expensive than 1xxx ones. The length of each roll is 50-100 meters, and the thickness, width, length and color can also be customized according to customer requirements. As for coating method, there are spraying coating and anodizing. Anodizing proves to be more costly. Surface colors include gold brushed, silver brushed, shiny mirror (gold mirror, silver mirror, blue mirror, black mirror, brown mirror, rose gold mirror, etc.), as well as a common aluminum color strip (red, white, black, yellow, blue, red, green, etc.).
