As a very common and popular aluminum plate product in the aluminum plate market, stucco embossed aluminum sheet is almost ubiquitous in our daily life. Stucco embossed aluminum sheet becomes brighter and more beautiful after going through a washing process. What’s more, the washing process helps to compensate lots of defects from the manufacturing process. Here Haomei would like to share knowledge about the washing process for stucco aluminum sheet with you.
Newly finished stucco embossed aluminum sheet tends to suffer alkali corrosion with large amounts of alkali etching liquid film. In such a case we must have the sheet washed, the process of which is called water washing after alkali etching. It’s a difficult process actually. First of all, we must start from the perspective of facilitating the cleaning of the product. The water in the first sink should be kept warm and alkaline and the water should not be changed. After two times of washing, we can stir the water properly in order to obtain a better cleaning effect. You can decide whether to apply the overflow treatment or not in accordance with the quantities of stucco embossed sheets.
If the stucco embossed aluminum sheet must be cleaned twice, the latter step of washing is called neutralization after washing. Circulating water is recommended to use in this kind of washing. The purpose of this is to protect the normal use of the oxidation tank, because there is nitric acid in the tank, and if it is carried into the oxidation tank, there is a possibility that an oxide film may not be formed, or an increase in impurities in the oxidation tank may accelerate the aging of the oxidation tank. The same method for washing is also advised for embossed aluminum sheet of chemical polishing. Water in the first tank must be kept at proper temperature and water in the second tank should be circulated. If you have further questions about washing for embossed sheet, welcome to contact us.
