3003H16 Aluminum Coil Sheet for Ropp Caps

In addition to 8011, another important alloy use widely as raw material for ropp caps is 3003H16 aluminum coil sheet which was first adopted in the 1930s when screw-type aluminum bottle caps appeared. Owing to its excellent sealing effect and anti-fake function, aluminum coil 3003 h16 is applied widely in bottle sealing for carbonated drinks, common beverages, liquor, food and pharmaceutical products. In spite of differed requirements about states and materials of various ropp caps, 3003 h16 coil has been regarded as the top choice for beverage bottles.

In comparison with other materials, 3003 h16 aluminum coil sheet for ropp caps has good corrosion resistance, perfect tensile strength and satisfying formability. Like other 3000 series of aluminum products, it contains both aluminum and manganese and is well known for excellent anti-corrosion property. Therefore, 3000 aluminum alloys are frequently used as anti-rust materials in fridges, air-conditioners, refrigeration houses, and even underground pipelines etc. 3003H16 aluminum coil sheet shows better hardness and tensile strength than 1000 alloys. It’s suitable for both heat and cold treatment, which largely widens its formability.
